Ed Nieman - Set Designer
Ed joined SPAO about six years ago. His ambition was to was help with set construction and the technical aspects of our shows. He started as a prompter, a set constructor and a backstage hand for "Barefoot in the Park", we tricked him to appear on stage as a poker Player in "The Odd Couple". Since then he has appeared in "Moon Over Buffalo", "All in the Timing", "Rumors", "Arsenic and Old Lace", and "Murder By Mistake". He ended up as the lead in "The Foreigner" last spring (speaking a different language and performing 'The Chicken Dance') on stage. He designed the sound system we are currently using for all shows, has written code and created music to upgrade our website, produced our last show "Lunch Hour", stage managed others and designed and lead construction of this "Don't Drink the Water" set. Ed is employed as an estimator/project manager for Selby & Smith Sheet Metal. The shy and talented "Community Theater Ed" resides in Stillwater.

She is the lead designer for Forces Creative Entertainment and costumed "Bad Seed" and "Ain't Misbehavin'". She sits on the board of the Not So Common Players and is currently costuming "The Queen of Hearts" an original play written for the Town of Clifton Park celebrating it's 175th anniversary. She would like to thank Chris for all his support. We thank both Karen and husband Chris for their outstanding work with SPAO. They reside in Clifton Park.
